South Cerney A slice of cake from the wedding of the Prince of Wales
and Diana, Princess of Wales, is up for auction in the Cotswolds. The piece
of cake, icing and marzipan, given to Moyra Smith, a servant at Clarence
House, is expected to fetch up to £2,000 at Dominic Winter Book Auctions. It
comes with a thank-you letter to Mrs Smith, signed by the royal couple, and
a bottle of beer produced to mark the birth of Prince William in 1982.
